Support! let me 1st:
TIP: Go to the character creator and make a new character the way you want it. Take a screen shot of the sliders so when we get into the headstart, you will save a bit of time on Character Creation.
TIP: Get an AFRO: Asmodian Finding Radar Option. In other words, a self made chat option that will actually detect Asmodians before they are even within sight. This is especially important in pvp areas like Eltnen, where gank groups and zergs roam.
The process is simple, no materials required.
1.) Make a new Chat Box tab by selecting the "New Tab" when clicking on the gear symbol in the upper left corner of the box. (Of course, you could select an existing tab. I recommend using the Combat tab, it isn't used much.
2.) Go under Tab Options from that gear again and DEselect anything that is currently checked on, so turn everything off.
3.) Expand the Combat chat option so it will give you a long list of specific combat scenarios: ex. Friendly Unit Cast or Monster Attack. For the RADAR (or AFRO if you prefer), You will want to find all the options that say "ENEMY ______." There should be about five or six. Select them all.
4.) Before you're done, make all the chat options you just selected a vibrant color like bright red, or orange, something to catch your attention.
5.) Select all the other chat options you want on now, not too many, and label it something like RADAR or AFRO, in all caps, for fun.
How it works:
The AFRO will be able to pick up every skill, attack, effect, anything that those nasty Asmos do, when they do it. The ENEMY chat options will only pick up what Asmos do, so you don’t have to worry about a Frillneck in the next sector jamming your filter. Being that the chat range is larger than the minimap range, and will travel farther than you can see, Those Asmos won't be able to pick their noses within a 1 kilometer radius without you knowing about it. Once your AFRO goes off, unless you're looking for a fight, scurry on back the way you came and hang with a large group of people.
No one likes getting ganked, but you can also use it TO gank. Say you're in Morhiem, and you're searching for lone Asmos. Your AFRO will be able to find anyone weakened from fighting out in the middle of the lava fields, or be able to tell when where to avoid finding an even larger group.
Over all, your new AFRO will be saving your life and taking theirs!
*Thank Reiketsu for showing the Legion this wonderful piece of equipment*
